Hey everyone! I'm back from the dead hahaha. Since Thesis is burning me out and other work related stuff, I decided to take a break from everything and went to Cosplay Mania 2017 with my boyfriend!

This year's cosplay mania is held in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines! :D

So far the ticket prices ranged from 399 to 1k +. There are special cosplayer guests, art booths, merchandise booth and more! Unfortunately according to some of my friends who took the Gold Ticket and VIP ticket, the service sucked. Why? Because the line was long and they were treated as if they got Silver tickets as well. (Lucky for me, my boyfriend and our friend, we just bought the Silver tickets worth 399 php haha). I can't actually deny that the line was really long. We arrived there at 11:30ish am, quarter to 12nn and while driving we already saw a loooongg line outside the convention center. Gladly the parking isn't full that's why it was easy for us to get in via elevator, but unfortunately even inside there is a long line going up to the function rooms. It was poorly coordinated as people are scramming around (including us) asking where is the line for this and that.

But regardless, we had fun anyway because people were calling us Officer Hopps and Officer Wilde as we roam around :D <3

We cosplayed zootopia, as Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and Finnick.

A side story with cosplay mania event

Evenstar Necklace

For me, this necklace is my symbol of trust. I had this before, but I gave it away to a special person that I thought will take care of it. Unfortunately, that person betrayed me in many ways. Thus, I lost the evenstar necklace along with that person. Leaving with my evenstar, never returning it again. After that incident, I went to all conventions that I can just to find this necklace again. But every time I visit all the booth that used to sell this, they just say: "ay wala na po yun.","Out of stock na", "Ubos na po". Years passed, still haven't found a replacement. I became so desperate that I searched online and pmed stores that might be selling this. Unfortunately, I got the same response. Thus, I decided to forget about it. Along with it, I also forget the special person who betrayed me and took it from me.

A new special person came into my life, which is now my boyfriend. Recently, he asked me to attend a convention with him. So I did. When we are there, Jerry Shaw asked me to go around the booths with him because he might see something that he likes. Then I saw this booth that sells different items from different fandoms, like accessories and necklaces. I decided to ask if they have the Evenstar Necklace, just to try my luck. To my shock, they have it. The last piece. The last stock. I bought it and now I have it back! It might sound silly but I think Fate brought me back to this necklace, through my new found special someone.

This event left a very important message to me: "someone took a piece of you, leaving a hole behind, but somebody else will replace it to fill the hole in you"
